Curra's is a wonderful little Tex-Mex joint in the Travis Heights neighborhood. The portions are right sized, the variety of sauces is amazing and the food is simply delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a fairly large patio. Highly recommend for ritas, good food and a good time with family or friends.

Their sister restaurant, which is also very good is Senor Buddy's out on 290W west of the Y at Oak Hill.

This is a place we had been meaning to go to for years and never made it. The wait was totally worth it! It is more of a celebration place in my opinion than a casual night out, but good no matter what. The atmosphere is very cozy and inviting and the service is impeccable. The Niman Ranch Pork Chop Milanese was tender and delicious, complimented with bitterness of the broccoli and tanginess of the lemon. The Rigatoni Amatriciana was perfect with a light but spicy tomato sauce and bits of guanciale or Italian bacon. The pizzas are yummy too!  This place is small and reservations are a good idea. Definitely high on my recommend list :-)
